We pride ourselves in healthy, strong, and well-socialized kids. Because we are present for every labor and delivery, our kids are handled from birth and bottle-raised from a young age.
AVAILABILITY AND DISCOUNTS
All available kids and adults will be listed on our website and social media. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to hold any goat. Purchasing 3 or more goats from us will qualify you for a 5% discount on your total purchase price. We also offer additional discounts to youth involved with 4-H and FFA as well as herds involved in ADGA Performance Programs. Deposits may be made via CashApp or cash in person.
Deposits are non-refundable, unless something happens to the goat while in our care or your desired gender is not born, at which time the deposit will be refunded or transferred toward the purchase of an offspring of a different planned breeding. Please make sure you are prepared to bring your goat home before you pay for them. Deposits may be made via CashApp or cash in person.
PICK UP AND TRANSPORT
Pick up is required 10 days from deposit or birth, whichever is later. If needed, an extended boarding period past the 10 days may be arranged for an additional $10.00 per day per goat. It is the buyer’s responsibility to maintain communication. All sales are local pickup only unless you have made shipping arrangements with us prior to purchase. Sometimes we are able to transport your goat to shows with us for a nominal fee if arrangements are made in advance. If we do not hear from you after the 10-day deposit/birth period, or the buyer backs out of the sale, the deposit is forfeited and the goat becomes available to the next buyer.
Our goats are guaranteed to be negative for CAE by testing or parentage at the time of purchase. Lorberau Legacy Farms is not responsible for the health of goats once they leave the farm. All goats from our farm have been well-cared for and are stress-free prior to moving. Moving to a new home, being weaned, or being surrounded by new people and animals can cause stress to the animal and health issues can quickly follow. We highly recommend you have a working relationship with a trusted veterinarian before you take your new goat home. If your goat becomes ill, please consider contacting your vet immediately for assistance.
Kids from our farm will be disbudded and tattooed before leaving the farm. If they are at least 8 weeks of age, they will receive their first round of vaccinations and be dewormed. The buyer will be responsible for providing health care and routine management from the time they depart from our farm.
Our first kidding date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out on all of the excitement!
Kids will be arriving through March! And things aren't slowing down. Keep up with all of our baby news!
